I loved how close we were to Appleby Castle and the beautiful St Lawrence's Church, making our weekend city strolls memorable. the immaculately kept grounds provided a lovely spot to unwind after wandering the local landmarks.

Had an awesome stay with my friend, and we loved the relaxing jacuzzi and beautiful gardens to unwind in. The breakfast was delicious, but the dinner menu felt a bit limited for vegetarians. Just a heads up, the walk to town isn't fully lit, so be careful at night! 😊

Recommend it for a couple getaway

The staff were cute, they even took the time to get to know us a bit! The food was something special, especially the steak at the bistro, so well cooked it was like cutting through butter.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but still manageable for a nice weekend.

Nice stay but food was a letdown

Had a lovely 2-night stay in a standard double room. The views of the countryside were beautiful, and the shower was super powerful! the bistro food was really overpriced for what we got. The waiter was nice though, which helps a bit. Breakfast in the lounge area was a highlight for sure!

It was just a decent option for a brief hiatus in Appleby-in-Westmorland with excellent value for money. The staff were friendly, especially Megan, who made us feel welcome with her bubbly personality. Make sure to check for the additional fees for using the spa facilities.
